i had to chuckle about this from the article, "Dan Dakich called Thomas Bryant his preseason NPOY."   Really, in my opinion, De'Ron is making Thomas look like he should be coming off the bench,  Minnesota or Michigan could not stop him.  But I think CTC has done a poor job developing talent as of late.  Please Glass, PLEASE make us all really happy!!

How many more losses until he's gone. I mean seriously? It's obvious that our guys don't want to play for him. The fan base is almost completely against him. Any word on CTC's status from inside the program?

There is zero upside to keeping Crean. This year he has completely lost the fan base. His in state recruiting is essentially gone and even if they extended his contract it won't improve things. For those who support Crean can't they see whether they like it or not we are at a point of no return

I'm wondering.... TB, JBJ, ROJO, Juwan, Deron, CUJO....weren't these guys all top 50-75 ranked kids?

Absolutely no reason we should be falling off a cliff like this. This team still has talent, unlike most of the talking heads want us to believe.
The fact that we are still making the same mistakes we did at the beginning of the season, along with the fact that our biggest deficiency is point guard play, and that we have no point guard help coming next year either, all lie with the head coach.

Typical Tom Crean style, we are up five with a few minutes to go. Ball goes to Thomas Bryant on the left wing and he jacks up a 3 with plenty of time on the shot clock.  Clang!  Minnny grabs the rebound and goes down and scores.  A four point swing.  Such stupid basketball, but we have been watching it for 9 years now.

Glad I fell asleep during halftime.. Would have been another night of getting my blood pressure up and yelling at the TV for no reason.

I didn't watch the second half but I assume it was the same old same old. Just another win for the tank family. No way he survives this season if we continue to lose. NO WAY! 

Eastern Ohio College wasn't enough of a cupcake.  It was Eastern Western A&M Tech of the Blind and Deaf.

Exactly. Cupcake schedule included:

UMass - Lowell, Mississippi Valley State, Houston Baptist, IPFW, Southern Illinois Edwardsville, Delaware State, Liberty, Southeast Missouri State and Austin Peay.

Indiana is 15-12 WITH them, but only 7-11 without them.

Dana Altman, really?  The guy is Tom Crean 2.0, coaching for 30 years and his record is very unimpressive, with a slightly better but still crappy defense usually.

I think right now Donovan would be the #1 Grand Slam choice (however realistic).  Beyond that, we've screwed up 3 times post-RMK and it's crucial that we get it right.  Because of that, IMO we MUST get a guy that has proven he can win at a high level (the higher the better).  It sends chills down my spine when I see names like Buzz Williams or Dane Fife bandied about.  Williams hasn't done jack crap and Dane Fife hasn't proven anything yet (not to mention he was instrumental in saddling us with Mike Davis).  Nope, there's a handful of coaches that are all but guaranteed to be vast upgrades over CTC and there's no reason to reach or settle.  We're at a perfect time for finally getting our next great coach - the program is clean, the aura of the Bob Knight era has faded, top notch facilities and fan support. One other possible (?) factor is any new coach may not feel guilty for taking the job of a coach already under contract if stories of CTC not being well liked among his peers is true. 

If not now, then when?
