You're right on it my man. Tubby Smith won a national championship and all those regular season SEC championships and SEC tournament championships. And yet, he was fired because of underachievements in the NCAA tournament. He made it to just the one Final Four in his first season. Subsequently, he won his lone national championship that season

Tubby could coach but the recruiting fell off.The championship was with Pitino's players.I knoe a lot of Ky fans and the Donavon thing drove them crazy.Also there was a pigmentation issue with most of the toothless bastards.

Tubby's last recruiting class had #10, #14, and #21 kids in the class. His recruiting was fine

I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I hate the 5 stars on the back of our shorts. I see it as Crean once again saying "look how much we've won", just like him hanging a B10 banner and talking about how much he's achieved. Without actually achieving success himself.

I love it. Im a soccer guy and its where it comes from. Have pride in your history. It should be a constant reminder to why Crean isnt good enough to be the coach of IU!!!

The stars are fine. The 2013 B1G banner on its own was completely self serving. I wouldn't be shocked if Crean threw a hissy fit when the renovations forced all the B1G titles to be placed on a solitary banner.

I like it, I think the only reason it should be changed is to add another star.

I guess I should have said fans thought it wasnt good enough.I know Carolina and Duke were getting a lot of kids they thought they should.Calimari took care of that.I really liked Tubby and could actually watch a UK game then.
