BlueDevil Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Dreamers. Get over it. One game and it's panic time? Did anyone else notice the wake player was left handed but yet whoever was guarding him gave him the left? Is that coaching? No...most players recognize that and force them to their weak hand. Why can't the players be accountable too? It's all on crean though with you haters. Keep drinking that kool aid. Mediocrity. VO5 and MikeRoberts 2 Quote

That should have been addressed before the game even started in the walk through. That is called scouting, scouting is part of the coaches job. "Hey guys, anytime he catches the ball force him right because he is left handed" Yes the players should have picked up on it, and guess what, if they don't, next time you're in a timeout, "hey guys, have you my noticed he can only go left, force him right" If they can't figure it out yank them and put someone else in thAt can. I didn't say it was all on crean, I simply pointed out that your point of a player going left and not being forced right is directly a result of poor scouting report and poor in game coaching. Obviously Crean is not on the court playing, but if someone is not doing their job it is the coaches responsibility to correct it or replace them with someone who can get it done. 8bucks, MikeRoberts, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

Feathery Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Honest questions: what recruits would we lose if crean were to be fired? Can they be released from their LOI if the coach is no longer there? They can be released but most will wait for the new coach to be hired first. VO5 1 Quote

Jeff_Boy_Ardee Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 my feelings too. For some reason I am on the Archie Miller train. Honestly I think he is the best and most realistic option out there. Let's face It, doesn't look like Stevens is leaving the NBA anytime soon. I have a feeling that we will let Creans contract play out until we find exactly who we want which may be painful for now but I think it's the best option. I would hate to fire him, pay a buyout, and rush a hire and then be stuck in the same boat were in now. VO5, Bobman1, thebigweave and 2 others 5 Quote

Didn't Dayton recently steamroll Alabama? And Dayton has been know to do well in the tournament. Quote

I think Marshall is a homerun. However I think Marshall is now set at WSU after his raise and extension. Archie Miller would be a good choice. But we are getting ahead of ourselves. Quote
KingPG21 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 So our defense sucked again, a horrid play drawn up late, and Crean skipped on an interview (?). People thought this was a final four caliber team. Again I don't see it at all Bobman1, BlueDevil, Napleshoosier and 2 others 5 Quote
Jketch Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Alright guys choose a damn side.. I'm tired of everything being okay then all of a sudden it's not. Seriously this just makes our fan base look bad as a whole. Yes, Crean makes mistakes but getting rid of him would not better the team. The players love his commitment and development. He learns from his mistakes eventually Ex: Beilfeldt starting. Can we just let this go and stop speculating who will coach when it's pointless? Quote
