    I'll give the kid credit. He is a terrific backup quarterback. He's far from perfect and the decision to start Penix was the right one; but Ramsey made a few critical plays today (his run for a 1st down was huge late), and he's a valuable part of the program. Happy for him...just hope Penix can eventually stay healthy.

    Hats off this team and Peyton Ramsey and Tom Allen in particular! Indiana just won...at Nebraska. I know they’re a shell of their former self but this is like Vanderbilt winning at Alabama pre-Saban. Still a huge deal. IU is now 10-8-3 all time against Nebraska. Interesting historical record given we’ve played them over 20 times now.

    That's the pitch against Memphis. Memphis is without question losing Wiseman at the end of this year, and have no idea who their center will be thereafter. We may lose TJD, but if Dawson arrives we will also with complete certainty have Joey and Race to bang around down low.

    I think we should sit Penix next week against northwestern. They suck and should be an easy win, especially at home. With the bye week after that, he'll have three weeks to rest up before Penn State. We'll need him to have a chance in that one.
