According to the Herald Times' Mike Miller (@MikeMillerHT), former RB commit Kristian Pechac has joined the program as a walk-on. He was a very talented RB in high school with plenty of scholarship options. Let's hope he is willing to put in the work and sticks around this time!

He was at Pima Community College. Enrolled after early graduation. This comes after Pima announced next season or year they are dissolving their football program

I think he graduated early and was attending some community college in Arizona. Either way, he adds even more depth to an already talented RB group. We now have Ellison, Gest, Walker, and Pechac (plus a few others) on the roster.

New article on 247 says after completing the second session of games on Wednesday at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, Igiehon discussed his interest in Louisville, Oregon, Stanford, UConn, St. Johns, Kentucky, Duke, Indiana, and Florida. Another recent article by Jody Demling gives mention of Louisville, Oregon, Stanford and UConn as the "hot" schools and Igiehon says he is looking at cutting his list to eight schools, but isn't sure when that would happen.

Lewis said that he has an unofficial visit set for Georgia on June 17th and that he is also planning one for Alabama along with trying to get to Indiana before the end of the month. The Crimson Tide appears to be in the best position at this point while Indiana has made a good push and Georgia could really help themselves with a strong visit. However, the potential game changer here would be an offer from Kentucky. If the Wildcats end up offering during July, they would likely become the favorites to land Lewis.

I didnt realize until today that Coach Reich is also the QB coach. Reich will be a huge improvement/help for Luck over the previous regiment. Not to mention Coach Reich had the same surgery Luck did when he retired.

Maybe if his middle school cross country times had been a little faster, he'd have received more D1 offers.

No Kentucky, Duke or UNC. But freaking Vanderbilt.

It seems this could be an unbelievable class with a couple 5 stars (TJD, Watford, Hurt, Brooks, Carton) or we miss on everyone except TJD and grab some lower guys like Newman, Franklin, Harris. Just such a mystery right now in June.

If Smith’s skill development is further along than I expect than we are in for a really special year... can’t wait to watch. This is the most excited I’ve been for an IU season since the 2013 season.

I can't be the only one who didn't know there was a prep school in Crown Point until today. Based off his interactions on here and on Twitter, it seems like he has a hard time getting along with people.

Those are two different things in my opinion. Making jokes about the Colts is fair game because they have royally screwed this guy since they drafted him. The team saying and doing stupid things has nothing to do with him. I didnt do that to Tom Brady who I cant stand when he was injured because things like that IMO are just purely low class. There is a fine line between the two IMO. Coming into the league he definitely had the potential to be a top 5-15 QB all time, but with the way the Colts did him to start his career I dont think there is any chance of that now. I just hope he can atleast get back to 80% of what he was and he'll still have a long and successful career.

Chris Herron received a crystal ball for IU from a Texas hs football area writer. I’ve mentioned Herron before. He’s not tall.....6’0”. But he reminds me a lot of Reece Taylor. And speaking of Reece I believe he will have more of an offensive role.... I’m thinking slot/wildcat QB instead of DB like what was talked about around signing day. Now back to Herron. He’s a dual threat guy. Has good pocket awareness and can escape pressure. If you watch his hudl videos to me he has a pretty smooth release...he’s no suds....but he has some nice 40-50 yard dimes where he leads the WR and keeps him in stride. Overall coach Sheridan is doing great work. From my google search.....it looks like herrons hs and plays in one of the larger if not largest division in Texas football. That’s pretty big.
