What skin? I'm an alum, and whether we win or lose on the basketball court my degree will be the same. If I went to Ball State my degree would be just as affected by Hoosier wins as it is now. Who cares how you become a fan? What matters is what happens next. I'd take an Indiana resident who has never set foot on any part of the campus except Assembly Hall who cheered and watched through 2007-2010 than an alum who tunes in for big games when we're ranked.

The only difference between an IU fan that is alumni and an IU fan that is not alumni is, well, nothing really that pertains to fandom...

I have 3 degrees from IU but that doesn't make me any more of a Hoosier fan then one who has always rooted for IU from afar.   The only DEGREE that matters is the DEGREE with which we love IU and bleed Cream and Crimson! :ninja:

Disrespectful. I am appalled that we attended the same university. Alumnus or not, we are all Hoosiers and we all deserve the same respect.

Since when do you have to be an alumni to be a fan? Does that make alumni better fans somehow? I went to Ball State because it better pertained to my degree. Grew up an IU fan, both my parents attended. I always find it funny how some think you have to attend a school to be a fan,

Kind of a double thing for me. Basically I'm working at a warehouse right now (5 months), and starting at the end of next week they are most likely going to be making massive cuts. I feel good about my chances about making it over the hump and staying on, but prayers would be appreciated.   Adding onto that, I had to leave work early last night, got sick twice, discovered I had a temperature as well. Basically I wasn't even able to keep down anything, including water, until like an hour or so ago. Prayers to get over this crap would be appreciated.

Iowa scored 44 pts in a 12 pt loss to Northern Iowa. They are also 1-4 against power 5 conf teams.

BTW, Hoosiers also beat SMU earlier by 6. SMU dumped Michigan today. Making us look better all along the way.

Wow, I can't believe I'm saying this but I could definitely see us finishing 2nd in the conference this year. I know I'm getting ahead of myself but UM and MSU aren't any better than we are.  Maryland and OSU I suppose are threats, but neither are that threatening.

Hoosiers beat Texas Southern by 19 earlier this season. TSU has Michigan State down 5 with 2.2 seconds to go in OT.   Mike Davis for the WIN.

Anthony Lee really stuffing the stat sheet against UNC today.   0-1 shooting and 3 rebounds.  Not sure what Matta promised him but I hope OSU is at least fun for him on the weekends.

Man, I realize that they are playing ASU, but he looks like a really solid 5. Has back-to-the-basket moves, can pass out of the post, rebounds, protects the rim...

I think with improved weapons in the receiving corps Sudfeld will have a better season. Yeah he struggled himself some this year, but much of it was crappy play by the receivers.
