It wasn't pretty but it was a win.  Now, a Wilkes commitment during the post-game festivities would work.  All joking aside, IU needed a huge signature win at home and this was a wacky one.  This is the kind of win that peeps will be talking about for awhile and could get those less interested fans in the seats to help win another down the road...  HOO HOO HOO!!!

Interesting situation for me here. I'm an IU fan living in Maryland who has trained his kids that we hate UK, Purdue and UMD. The UMD-Purdue score scrolls across ESPN earlier today and my 6 year old says "Dad, we're rooting for Maryland to crush Purdue, right?"  

I replied, "Yes Son, we don't like Maryland, but we hate Purdue!"
