They may come to town and beat us. When he lost to UM he was receiving death threats. His kids were harassed mercilessly at school. People really need to get in touch with reality. It's a football game...entertainment. These kids and coaches are real people with lives and families. There are far worse things going on in the world that harassing a coach or calling for his head after this loss is crazy. It's always ugly after a loss but the things that are being said about the team/Day are ridiculous. They usually don't have this hard of schedule and seems like there is mass panic that they may lose to us/USC/Michigan and miss the playoffs. I think it's one more loss and make the playoffs. Too early for panic. For sure. With the B1G being kinda mid, their schedule isn't as daunting anymore, and it's pretty easy to see them going 11-1 or 10-2. Right now they still have the best national title odds by a decent margin. Huge overreaction. ALASKA HOOSIER and skhoosier2 2 Quote
Lebowski Posted September 14 Posted September 14 2026 Week 2 takeaways. Minnesota pooped the bed. UCLA might be a one loss team going into Minnesota 11/7. Michigan will win more than 6 games. Penn State's schedule is very favorable for them. SC does not have a favorable schedule. Oregon might be last year's PSU? Va Tech will be a ranked team and in the discussion for a CFP bid. IUFB's week 1 opponent, North Texas, made IUFB's win against them much more impressive. Both the SEC and ACC are the top P4 conferences right now and it's up for grabs which conference follows them. Week 3 Marquee Matchups Houston at Texas Tech SMU at UofL LSU at Ole Miss West Virginia at Virginia Big Ten Matchups to watch Va Tech at Maryland Colorado at Northwestern MSU at ND skhoosier2 1 Quote

With a lot of season left it's easy to see why they're overreacting IMO... doesn't mean it's reasonable whatsoever though. The OSU fanbase, online anyway, act like caricatures of themselves. Nothing new since it was known last year before the Peach bowl we had a line on their plays based on tape. BIP on X showed video of what he saw that was a tip off of run or pass. One of the O-line was doing something to tip it off. Really crazy though that it has not been fixed. Would say that means Lanning isn't self-scouting. Quote

Brass Cannon Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I know with Moores tell that it’s fixable. But curious with anybody in the know if it’s fixable in 2 weeks? Like I gotta think that’s something that take a lot of reps to undo otherwise it’s something he is having to think about and honestly his decision making isn’t good enough for him to be more distracted Quote
