But they landed one of the best QBs in the portal, and it will be interesting to watch. Either UK has increased their football commitment from rev-share (last rumor I heard was roughly 50% went to basketball) and NIL, or Sam might not have a hell of a lot of help. Quote

I was Ubering last night listening to the College Sports channel, and they mentioned that the going rate for a portal QB when from like $1.5 million to $3 to 3.5 million. They used Leavitt as an example of the top rate. I suppose he is from Portland, OR so he has ties to the Ducks. I guess they have to overpay to keep him from going there. BtownStrength 1 Quote

Cig being a bit of a “QB whisperer” has to be one of IU’s biggest advantages right now. You still have to pay for top talent, but most kids with pro aspirations are going to want to come here too and we shouldn’t have to overpay for talent at the most important position in football.
