LamarCheeks Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 From my neck of the woods ... Michael Vick falls to 1-3 at Norfolk State -- and the one win was in OT over a Div. II school. And believe it or not, Virginia Tech folks were calling for him to get a look for their opening. Reminds me of us when we have a basketball opening, fans (not here) are throwing out all kinds of names -- only because they played for IU. On an IU basketball FB fans page, I remember folks shouting for Alan Henderson, Greg Graham, Damon Bailey -- guys who might not even get an NAIA interview. I think it was when Archie was let go. DChoosier Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 One of the funniest/saddest clips of the day was Arch Manning scoring on a 5 yard run and then leaning down and taunting a Sam Houston State player that was on the ground. LOL The $6,000,000 pre-season Heisman favorite taking it to friggin Sam Houston State. What an accomplishment! HA ! Pagoda 1 Quote
BtownStrength Posted September 21, 2025 Posted September 21, 2025 So now comes the "who do we root for" question. Assuming we have to be top 4 in the Big Ten to have a shot at a playoff bid, do we want Penn St to beat Oregon? We play them both, but PSU may have a slightly more difficult schedule. Quote
