Could IU’s only 2 losses be to the NCAA champ and runner up

That would be pretty crazy. Even crazier is that 2 of their wins were against the previous year's champion and runner up. So it's possible that when this season is over, IU will have IU will have played 2 consecutive years' champions and runners up and would've gone 2-2.

Guys I don’t want to alarm anybody but I think Oregon didn’t deserve a spot in the CFP. They are getting blown out afterall

I'm sure Herbstreit is already firing up 'Texas beat two conference champions to get to the semifinals'.

We do need to talk about the fact that in the current format the 5 seed is the best position.....they beat the CFP's #16 and #12 teams to get to the semis.

The way the CFP uses the bowls still seems weird to me.

Just take two bowls and make them the semifinals. Or one bowl and make it the championship game.

Ohio State just won the Rose Bowl. So now they head to the Cotton Bowl.

Penn State won the Fiesta Bowl -- and now heads to the Orange Bowl.

Does winning the Rose or Fiesta bowl mean anything if you lose the next game? Not at all. Those games should be the pinnacle of a season. Not the means to an end.

Then you have situations like Texas going to the Cotton Bowl which is basically a home game for them.

Bye teams are 0-3. I hope they go 0-4.

I wonder if the longer time between games kind of hurts them.

Prior to the brackets being announced I heard Saban say he wouldn’t want a bye as that was too much time off. Thought it would be difficult to be sharp after the extended layoff.
