Even crazier is that 2 of their wins were against the previous year's champion and runner up. So it's possible that when this season is over, IU will have IU will have played 2 consecutive years' champions and runners up and would've gone 2-2. Brass Cannon Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Guys I don’t want to alarm anybody but I think Oregon didn’t deserve a spot in the CFP. They are getting blown out afterall RoadRage and cthomas 1 1 Quote

We do need to talk about the fact that in the current format the 5 seed is the best position.....they beat the CFP's #16 and #12 teams to get to the semis. cybergates 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 2 Posted January 2 What are the chances the Ducks mount a crazy comeback like ASU did? Dave from Dayton and RoadRage 1 1 Quote

Hoosierfan1901 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 That should do it for Ohio State, no idea if Oregon can score quickly enough and make crucial stops RoadRage 1 Quote

go iu bb Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Bye teams are 0-3. I hope they go 0-4. I wonder if the longer time between games kind of hurts them. Napleshoosier 1 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted January 2 Posted January 2 The way the CFP uses the bowls still seems weird to me. Just take two bowls and make them the semifinals. Or one bowl and make it the championship game. Ohio State just won the Rose Bowl. So now they head to the Cotton Bowl. Penn State won the Fiesta Bowl -- and now heads to the Orange Bowl. Does winning the Rose or Fiesta bowl mean anything if you lose the next game? Not at all. Those games should be the pinnacle of a season. Not the means to an end. JerryYeagley23 and go iu bb 2 Quote

HoosierTrav Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Random thought during the game…. Would love to pair Caiden Curry opposite to Kamara. hoopsta007, Banksyrules, thebigweave and 2 others 5 Quote

Prior to the brackets being announced I heard Saban say he wouldn’t want a bye as that was too much time off. Thought it would be difficult to be sharp after the extended layoff. Quote
CSP Posted January 2 Posted January 2 The bye teams were collectively a 23-25pt dog. Boise 10pt+, AZ ST 13pt+, Oregon 1pt+ IUHoosierJoe and cybergates 1 1 Quote
