* for now.

The fire Locksley train is all fueled up and gonna leave the station any day now.

As long as Barry Oh-dumb stays at Pur_ue I’m a happy man.

As long as he stays loyal to Kevin Kane. We should all hope to find somebody that dedicated to us.

Or replaces Kevin Kane with the soon-to-be-available Mike Locksley.

I'm in a first c!@$$ seat on the hate all things Purdue train, but until they figure out how to pay-to-play in today's world they are a sinking ship. I don't necessarily like the current landscape, but it is reality and you either embrace it or you die.

They will get picked clean every year.  Anybody who can hang in a P4 conference will get poached. No sane coach would go there

Everyone is so focused on where SEC teams get ranked, did anyone notice Oklahoma State is now #19 after winning a conference game for the first time since 2023? Beating Oregon snapped a 12 game losing streak, since then they've beaten FCS Murray State (1-4) and West Virginia. Looks like a top 20 team to me!

Hey, beating Rich Rod is an accomplishment...in 2006.

OK State is built just like IUFB was built in 2024 except with North Texas instead of JMU.

Regarding the AP and Coaches Poll.

Still way early to sort out but there are schools getting overlooked. For example, Duke is on a 8 game win streak and has a better resume than Missouri. Another example, Va. Tech and Wisconsin have better wins then Houston, SMU, and Missouri wins.

But again, it's still way too early to sort out.

Regarding the IUFB drop, I'm good with it. Either we keep on dropping or we don't. I have a feeling Northwestern will cause havoc to a lot of Big Ten schools this year. Cig keeps on telling everyone NW is a good football team. I believe him but time will tell just how correct that statement is.

And they already lost to Tulsa. But if Oregon rebounds that will be a good OOC win for them and outside of Texas Tech and @Houston their schedule is easy.

Northwestern gets Penn St. at home Friday night.  Be nice to see the 'Cats win by 30....
