Georgia and Iowa doing a really nice job with thbudget.e Wisconsin’s was a one time thing to try and prop up, Fickel I think. Funny enough efficiency of spending sort of mostly follows quality of coaching. Ferentz and Kirby are good coaches. Fickell and Norvell…not so much. skhoosier2 1 Quote
Pagoda Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Haha. A little extra fuel on the fire... the fire that is already like Chernobyl in 1986. I think this will be the most vitriolic crowd in modern US sports history. I suspect Ole Miss fans angry behavior will peak at throwing things at Lane. The question is if anyone makes a reckless run to land a punch (probably not). Or if they go after the LSU team bus (maybe?). If Ole Miss loses in controversial fashion that won't help things. They're bringing in additional police from Mobile and New Orleans. Reports are a lot of people without a ticket are just going to Oxford anyway (not good!). I imagine there will be some fisticuffs in The Grove between LSU and OM fans. It's gonna be a scene. HoosierReb01, Home Jersey, Jeff Flabjohns and 1 other 4 Quote

Pretty interesting article, and I love this line. Kiffen would ask an attorney friend about the situation of the players coming back, and Mars would tell him he might want to back down. Kiffen would show him what ChatGPT would say. He would find any kind of proof to reinforce what he is wanting to do. Quote

And damn straight it’s only disappointing it’s not more. And oh wow what a shock Dante Moore looks great against a team without a pulse Just so he can look like crap in their next meaningful game. Demo Posted September 19 Posted September 19 This right here is a perfect example what really, really, bothers me about the current state of things and it’s a much bigger deal in football than basketball. This is a 25yo growna$$ man laying out a 19yo kid. For all the fun I like to make of a Chad Baker-Mazara, and that was a ridiculous deal, grown men playing college football is flat out gonna get some kid hurt. BannerVille 1 Quote

I see your point, but at 19 he's not a kid anymore, its two growna$$ playing against each other. There are 18 and 19 year olds who are laying hits like that. However, hopefully the 5 to play 5 will have this eliminated in the next few years. Quote

I had to google this to double check if it was true or a rumor. They are indeed giving away 45,000 golf balls with instructions not to throw them. What a stupid, stupid idea. No wonder Mississippi is at the bottom of the barrel for nearly every negative statistic (education, income, obesity etc etc). Really idiotic to hand these out to people that have been tailgating for up to 10 hours or so. ALASKA HOOSIER and RoadRage 2 Quote
