There is somethign to that, but the timing couldn't be a lot worse for them. Everyone else either moved or extended. Not a lot of high quality candidates. You don't know if the AD will be changed out (I think he is gone) or if there are more NCAA problems coming. This happened at the wrong time for them which doesn't bother me a bit. As for Jim, it took him six years to get it going, and once he did, they did win big, but they also got in a lot of trouble that cost UM $30M+. Everything is there for them to be a beast, but they have just struggled for the last 20 outside of the last few years of Harbaugh's time which was so bad that he ran out of town for the Chargers.
