Once you get passed pick 40 or so it's better to go undrafted. You have a higher chance of sticking to a team and you can pick your situation. Hopefully Yogi can carve out a role with the Nets.

Yeah, after pick 40 or so, the upside of going undrafted is that while he's playing for Brooklyn in summer league, he's really auditioning for every team. Even while on Brooklyn's SL team, he's still a free agent.

Troy has apparently indicated on his Snapchat account that he will be playing for the Houston Rockets in summer league.

NCAA needs to wake up. Let players come back AFTER the draft, let NBA teams "draft and stash" players IN COLLEGE. It's done in other sports!

I mean it isn't a terrible idea. The MLB does it. I think it could help counter freshman from leaving if they aren't happy with their draft spot.

Much like Troy's drives to the bucket apparently he's not quite sure where he's going.  I posted the earlier comment about Houston that was reportedly on his Snapchat account but am now seeing Phoenix as you noted.  I'm old; I'm confused; I have no idea where he's going.

From 247Sports:  Former Indiana forward Troy Williams signed a summer league deal with the Phoenix Suns, according to the Indiana basketball Twitter account. Williams joins former IU teammate Yogi Ferrell in the summer league, as Ferrell signed with Brooklyn on Friday.

As a junior this past season, Williams started 34 of IU’s 35 games, averaging 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, leading the team in rebounding. He shot over 50 percent from the floor in all three years at Indiana, currently sitting at a 52.2 percent shooting percentage for his IU career.

Bilas went too far though. Said players should be able to go back if they don't like their draft position. I cannot disagree more. Let them go back if they go undrafted, but the players do have to own some of the risk.

As summer league rosters go, this is a fun one. Not sure I agree with Mathurin or Nembhard playing.

I’m not sure I wouldn’t rather the League had done nothing than something as perfunctory as this. This just insults fans.

Police were investigating it as an assault (which it was). Not sure where that stands but if one of the fans decided to ask for an arrest and prosecution that’s a pretty clear case

Bronny James has been medically cleared by NBA doctors to participate in the Draft Combine. Not surprising but good for him. Given the year he had, the fact that he got a straight invite rather than have to play through the G-League event is about as brazen as nepotism gets. But, hey, that’s not the kid’s problem.

Yeah that's the part of nepotism that gets overlooked. The onus is not and should not be on the kid to decline opportunities. More so the organization (by which I mean front offices saying he is not good enough) has to take a stand. But Jeanie Buss will do anything to retain Bron at this point.
