colonel06 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Sadly, I agree. There's no way we would have shot as well as we did at home. We never do in Indy. That has to change 20 years ? in a row is too much! Quote

Other than we may have slipped a seed we could be better off healthy and rested for the real tourney. mamasa 1 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 If anything, I guess losing gets the guys a little more focused for the real tournament! I was starting to think that they were getting a little too confident thinking they could shoot lights out every time and beat anyone. Time to focus, get some rest, and get ready for the real thing! Maybe. Everybody knew Michigan was fighting for their post season lives. Yet, we couldnt get focused to take their best shot as a #1 seed? Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Because rest helped us so much today Clearly we need more to get RoJo and Juwan healthy. Extra rest is a good thing for this team. ThompsonHoosier 1 Quote
tyappleg Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 maybe im not getting this but how can you blame ted valentine for this loss? I don't think anybody blamed him for the loss, but he is absolute garbage. I've watched a lot of games from many different conferences (including non-IU B10 games) and the B10 has by far the worst officiating in the country and it's led by this clown. Edit: The Pac-12 is often very questionable as well. FortWayneHoosier, Bobman1 and Crimson and Cream 3 Quote

HoosierAloha Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 If the team needed rest the best way to do that is play your backside off and win a few B1G tourney games so you get a few easy games to start the NCAA tourney. You don't come out half asleep and just go through the motions in your first tourney games. Alford Bailey 1 Quote
Bobman1 Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Does anybody have a good view of the so called travel at the end of the game? Quote

Trish Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 What sucks is we're going to have to wait a whole week to watch this team play again.............. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Has rest ever helped a Tom Crean team? Is this a serious question? How would you track this? Rest helps players with injuries. We currently have two rotation players with injuries. Logic says rest would help this Tom Crean coached team, just as it would any team with injured players. I'm going to go repeatedly bang my head into a wall now. ThompsonHoosier 1 Quote
