It's over. This is a big wake up call for where we are as a program.

It is? Rarely does IU land the big fosh. We go through this every year with 1 or 2 recruits and hardly ever get the prize. IU basketball just doesn't have the appeal it once did.

It got weird. The reality is no one knew anything- that's about all I had on decent word. Then I come on here and posters have him locked to IU based on what they know. Frankly, some accounts got so detailed it was very obviously made up. Strange thing to do..
Now people are blaming a reporter for misleading them? Be mad at yourself for making assumptions about what this or that meant, and be mad at yourself for falling for fellow posters BS. 
Don't be mad at DG, a reporter doing his job, or AM.

With that news part of me wonders how interested he really was in us, since his dad is a big IU fan. I could see his dad vouching for IU and Darius keeping us in the running in part because he knew it would make his dad happy, even if he wasn't all that interested. There's nothing wrong with that if so, and I'm sure there was interest from Darius (I don't think he led us on), but it's just something I thought about.

I think CAM had his point guard all along (RP) and was happy to wrap that up. Until, the Garland's decided to lead him along thinking IN could get him. I believe he was misled simply by Garland's mom crying during HH. CAM blew them all away and did everything in his power to sway them. Their minds were already made up before we entered the picture. CAM can use this as a learning experience as he has never recruited 5 stars in a head position. He will be much better just like our team this year.

We weren't even a factor. Mom's tears at HH were not for him being sold on iu clearly. Well any so called insider in the future can basically get lost. Just like with Donovan it was all way off the mark.

Maybe Romeo does go there, who knows?

On the other hand it seems that a very small percentage of recruits that seem(or say) to want to play together actually end up going to the same school.

What you will see is me laugh at any so called insider who claims to have information on where Romeo is going. Going back to the Archie hire most message board insiders are batting zero. No wonder the janitor went into hiding.
