He does often switch as the very last moment.  If Wednesday afternoon he still says IU we might have a chance.

No need to be sorry man. That's the beauty of this one as it truly is/was a coin flip. The family has been pretty good about not letting info out so the drama will be there until Wednesday.

Right now I am cautiously optimistic. You know what would “flip me“ into pessimistic? If Simi Shittu signs with or verbals to Vanderbilt during this early signing period.

Until that happens I don’t believe that Vanderbilt has enough signed talent to attract Darius garland.

As entertaining as this has been, I️ think I’m satisfied with waiting until Wednesday for the announcement from the actual recruit. What’s gonna happen is gonna happen. There could be a million reasons why he is doing the announcement Wednesday or why he liked this pic and not that one or why he had bagels for breakfast and not cereal.

Wednesday will be hear soon enough, hopefully it’s a good day for us, but until The announcement I’ll stay excited following Archie interviews about the team is coming along and the upcoming game.

It also opens them up to ask Archie during a post game presser to get even more exposure. 

Nothing has changed on my end. It's gameday. We will be 2-0 going into a top 25 game when he announces for IU. I don't think even Shittu is that big of a deal because when he comes to IU he can play with Davis who will be more experienced and more NBA ready than Shittu. I'm not reaching out to any my contacts this weekend since we have two games to get ready for. Unless someone tells me something to make me change my mind It's IU.

Do you think Romeo moving up his announcement to the final 3 from around Thanksgiving to Saturday is coincidence? I'm thinking DG and RL talk regularly, and are very aware of all the suspense they are creating. Vandy will be on the short list come Saturday. More speculation of a package deal to Vandy will take up 4 or 5 pages on both threads. These players are enjoying the hell out of this, and I say, good for them. HH sealed the deal for both of these guys. No visit for either of them showed them anywhere near the love and attention. 

 

These re two have done a great job throwing the pundits off the trail. In 5 more days DG will be a Hoosier. Signed, sealed, and delivered by CAM. RL will have some more fun before it's over, but at the end of the day IU will have a top 3 recruiting class. 

Now, let's get ready for this much anticipated start to CAM's first year as our ball coach.
