I've already resigned myself to the fact we won't land him and rationalized myself into believing we'd be better off getting a quality player who will be here more than 1 year. I honestly think this could be a big factor. He is playing in sellout gyms each night. I don't believe those gyms would be sell outs if he was already committed to Vandy/Kansas. I still feel good about IU’s chances. Hype and exposure could be huge if he chose to stay home. National media would catch on to him being the Trae Young of 2018.
