colonel06 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Since I gave Yogi a hard time about his D early in the game thread, I have to say now that after that timeout he was phenomenal! It's also nice to see us putting it on some teams, but not just because we're hot from 3, but because we're playing really good D, attacking the basket, moving the ball, cutting down on turnovers, etc.. Yogi probably would prefer that he wouldn't have to work so hard during every darn game. But we are who he makes us and that entails busting his butt each and every game if we win period. I'm happy that now he is getting much national attention for all the hard game work he does. He can't take a game off. He has to be at his best each contest to keep this Hoosier train on track to reach our destination. HoosierAloha 1 Quote

Trish Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 My prediction still 100% right according to that other thread. Have us winning Saturday and Iowa next week. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
Old Friend Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 People forget that Calbert was probably the least-heralded player in that class. Only because he was hurt his senior year. He was a very highly rated player as a junior. johnsoniu 1 Quote
IUBB666 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 What a great way to wake up this morning ! Finding out our Hoosiers won ! Everyone have a blessed day ! Gooooooo Hooooosiers ! Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 After the stumble at Wisky and the near stumble at home against Minny, this was a fantastic on-the-road confidence building win. Maybe this game was the swift kick to the crotch of our historical February swoon and we can stay on a roll. pappy1865 1 Quote
HoosierTrav Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Wowzers. That team came to play. And I don't know if you guys have heard about the "OG" fella' but... he's pretty good. He's aight. Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Team looks like the developed some solid defensive habits during our cake walk opening schedule. Loved seeing them work their way out of a shooting slump to start the game. Worked it inside to Bryant pretty well, but we need more of that. Bittersince87 1 Quote
Alford Bailey Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Horrible start. I felt we'd make a run but not THAT type of run. I thought it would be back and forth all night. Nope. Not quite on the same level but kinda reminded me of when we went to OSU in 2013 and dominated. Quote
Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 @chronichoosier: Amazing. RT @davefurst: #IUBB's 25-0 run in 30 seconds: https://twitter.com/chronichoosier/status/694734365646024704 We took the ball to the rim, played some defense, and found some open threes because of it. More of this please. Quote
BlueDevil Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Time to peruse Rupp Rafters now? "Marcus Lee plays like an 8th grader with a yeast infection." My god lol Stuhoo, IUBB666, Napleshoosier and 2 others 5 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 OG is my new favorite. OG is my new favorite. Mine too! (and just like Oladipo, I love saying his name!) Quote
Kilroy Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 I was only able to watch the beginning and end of yesterday's game, which meant I saw IU be outscored by 20 points... guess I might have to only listen to the games from now one. Sports superstitions suck. MartintheMopMan 1 Quote

johnsoniu Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 OGs court awareness in transition D is off the charts. Man I love watching this kid play. Napleshoosier and ElectricBoogaloo 2 Quote
Dalton26 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Drove to work and from the way it sounded we were playing terrible so I wasn't optimistic. I would've paid to see the look on my own face when I checked the score at lunch. Sounds like the guys decided to turn it back on again. Napleshoosier and TrueHoosier62 2 Quote
BlueDevil Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 What does that even mean? Hahaha best part was finding the guy that announced himself as a guy who jumped on the CATS bandwagon last year but was previously on the Duke/Kansas bandwagon and was calling them brothers. Ripped him to shreds. Poor guy had a Florida shirt on in his pic. Stuhoo, IUsafety, Hovadipo and 1 other 4 Quote

IUaic Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 What does that even mean? It means, they have seen how their 8th grade sisters / cousins (so probably in their 20's) act while having a yeast infection and just made the comparison. It is safe to assume in KY that the average age of an 8th grader, or any grade, is twice the average age of any other state in America.
