Where was Troy going on that defensive transition?  He was side by side with Hayes and then just kind of stopped and headed towards the corner.  Did he forget he was playing basketball?  Got tired and needed a breather?  See a smoking hot cheerleader?  He just kind of quit on the play.

In the first few minutes of the game he missed a defensive assignment giving up an open three, missed a few layups, and turned the ball over.  When this happens he needs to be benched until the under 8 timeout.  After JBJ went down with his injury it magnified how low Troy's basketball and how poor he is on defense.

Not trying to poke the bear but, thoughts?

@nkartos: Strength coach for @Hoosiers stood on court & yelled on every single #badgers free throw attempt. Yelled. Like he was in student section.

That guy needs to sit behind the bench and act like he's been there before.   His act is simply tiresome and isn't necessary.

Everyone look at the box score. IU won in pretty much every category. The difference? 37-18 FTA in favor of Wisconsin. Im all about not letting the refs impact the result, but holy ****....

That's not the whole story, and Indiana fans, who had it this way in Bloomington for 29 years under Knight have no right to complain.  Indiana settled for too many jump shots off the dribble tonight, Wisconsin attacked the paint.  There are reasons for disparity, and most are not "we got homered."

Our offense went back 3 steps. We went back to the same old terrible ISO crap. That would be great if we had Lebron or KD. But we have Yogi and he can't do everything. A Troy iso would just result in him turning it over.

I'm just tired of the ISO crap. It's terrible.

Guess the same thing happened to MSU (Wisconsin +20 FTA in their win). And Indiana during its last three trips to Madison during which Wisconsin has a total FTA margin of more than 60. Indiana could have done plenty of things better, but hot damn...

Troy did not have a good game, Yogi was what kept us with a chance, Bryant got schooled by another freshman-Happ!

Happ is a red-shirt freshman.  Plus remember he had to practice against Kaminsky and Dekker last year.  I think that made him grow up pretty fast. :)

I think Crean's substitution patterns really hurt us this game, and I think the Bad Troy were the two main reasons we couldn't overcome the foul descrepency.

I would also tell you guys, if you ever get the chance to come to a game at the Kohl center you should go.  The fans are great, and the atmosphere is not quite at AH levels, but it is pretty darn good.

The Wisconsin fans were sure PO'd by his actions.  My wife, who really doesn't even watch BB, but came to the game so we could see our son, was constantly asking:  Who is that guy again?  and why does he act like that?  :)

Nigel Hayes talked about him in the post game press conference and called him "The Madison Spike Lee"

I bet he won't hardly be able to speak tomorrow...

Nigel also walked through the handshake line after the game saying nobody on your team can guard me, nobody.  I seem to remember him having a bad game at AH no?

Refs were bad, but they were bad both ways.

Turnovers, defense, lack of defensive adjustments, and lack of assists are what lost the game.

1 more cupcake before the tough schedule starts. Minnesota is an easy win. If we lose to Michigan that would be losses in 2/3 and a bad sign.

Hayes killed us at the stripe and Happ had his way with TB. Yogi played his heart out. Troy was awful again, Rojo was a non factor again, bench mob didn't bring it. I was pleased with our effort but disappointed in our execution. Bring on Minny. #GoHoosiers

The free throw disparity was sickening. I turned the game off after Hayes was sent to the line on 3 straight possessions. I knew how it was going to turn out. Proud of our resolve though.

Crean did a nice job early on but s**t the bed late.
