HoosierTrav Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Does he remind anyone else of Jamal Crawford, or is it just me? I sure hope you're right. That would be awesome. Quote
Old Friend Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Does he remind anyone else of Jamal Crawford, or is it just me? Not a bad comparison. I see a little quicker and perhaps a better ball handling version of Blackmon. Not sure he's quite the shooter Blackmon is (especially when Blackmon gets hot), but Crawford is a good call, too. I like his vision....hope he can get the release on that shot up just a little higher. Stuhoo and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote

Hovadipo Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 How'd Cujo do? Can't find stats, but here's this from Vantage Hoops: "Jones, who was thrust into handling the basketball most of the game, did what he does best in showing his range off the catch. It was hard to figure out why they had him handling the ball, which isn’t his strong point, but he did show the ability to finish in the lane and above the rim in transition." Sounds like he at least did decent, I saw another articles with reactions from the scrimmage and one of the reactions was Cujo/Bridges would have to handle a big load for Huntington Prep so he obviously did pretty well. And, I agree with the posters above--I do see some Crawford in his game. Looking forward to turning our CUJO loose on some teams in the future! WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I like his length at the guard spot. Just want more consistency. Maybe this year will be his year. If more consistent shooting he will rise in the rankings too. Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Alright everyone. I am starting to feel better about our team next year. I think there are 2 bigs keys. We need TB to stay. If Blackmon bolts I want BB or Rawle. Everything else is gravy. It would be nice to find a "Troy" replacement too and that is why i wanted Kegler so bad. But if blackmon stays or we get BB/Rawle we can play a 3 guard lineup and be solid. Bobman1, ALASKA HOOSIER, mamasa and 1 other 4 Quote

Having plenty of guards in RoJo, CuJo, Newkirk, BB, and GG makes me feel better about playing a 3 guard lineup but I still think we need an athletic wing unless OG steps up. Getting a wing or Alkins would make me feel a lot better though. Quote
