Flash3 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 The list is complete. They finished it out with.. 1. Nigel Hayes 2. Melo Trimble 3. Yogi Ferrell 4. Caris LeVert 5. Denzel Valentine Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Nigel Hayes as #1 how is that even possible. Striper, Ohreally, WayneFleekHoosier and 2 others 5 Quote

Hovadipo Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 By the end of the season, I could see Nigel being at the top of everyone's list. Flash3 and Stuhoo 2 Quote
GloryDays Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I agree with Hov about Hayes in the end but that remains to be seen. Lets see how he does being the focus now that the Tank and Dekker are gone. He along with Dekker really struggled in the final when they were needed most. Yogi plays his best in big games. Also,Is LaVert 100%? Quote
VO5 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Lol Nigel Hayes..sorry I don't see him even in the top 5 Quote
Stuhoo Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Nigel Hayes #1? Sounds entirely possible to me. Quote
Bobman1 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Huh? Nigel at one pre-season? There's a great chance Nigel is one at the end of the season on everyone's list, but being there before the season shocks me. Striper, Crimson and Cream and GloryDays 3 Quote
Trish Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Honestly, Yogi is #1. Without Yogi, our team is in the bottom of the league in the B1G this up-coming season. HoosiersLoveBanners and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

Until he proves to me that he can hit the shot when it matters most, I can't put him #1. Want to, just can't do it. Str8Hoosiers and FortWayneHoosier 2 Quote
Baltimore Hoosier Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I have no problem with NH at #1. My issue is ranking Melo ahead of Yogi. I just don't get the logic. Yogi completely dominated Melo head to head last season and had better averages in pretty much all statistical categories. Yogi is a senior and he's had another offseason to work and get better as well. Obviously these rankings are opinion based but come on.. Look at the numbers and the head to head and this is pretty simple. Bobman1, HoosierTrav, Str8Hoosiers and 2 others 5 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Nigel Hayes #1? Sounds entirely possible to me. Two words. Bo Ryan. Quote
HoosierD Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Until he proves to me that he can hit the shot when it matters most, I can't put him #1. Want to, just can't do it. He's hit quite a few big shots, just missing the big game winner. At the same time, the two listed ahead of him haven't even hit the big shots he has hit. I'd put him #1 for that reason. There isn't another player in the big ten that has carried the load Yogi has to this point in their career, and he's carried that load for two years now. Beowulf50 and BGleas 2 Quote
HoosiersLoveBanners Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Nigel Hayes was the fourth best player on his team last season... He's not the best player in the LEAGUE this season. Sorry! You can Bo Ryan me all you want but he won't have nearly the same looks being on the top of the scouting report instead of being on the bottom. Quote

Because Melo has mastered the art of jerking his head back at the slightest bit of contact, instantly earning him a trip to the foul line. Drives me nuts. He's a good player and all, but Yogi eats his lunch. swatford, ALASKA HOOSIER and HoosierAloha 3 Quote

Alford Bailey Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I'm fine with these five but I'd mix it up a little. Yogi and Melo 1-2(dont care which you put first) then Valentine, Hayes and LeVert. WayneFleekHoosier and GloryDays 2 Quote
