(2015) PF Juwan Morgan to IU

Recommended Posts

I think it's all together possible that Crean sees these guys at practice, and knows his players well enough to recognize when someone is ready for the NBA. That is how I've always viewed his over-signing.

I hope if this is the case, it's Troy or JBJ who makes the jump. We don't have anyone ready to take over after Yogi is gone, unless we add a true PG in 2015.

I also believe that between Hartman, Hoetzel, Priller and April, someone is not going to get the playing time they desire.

This is not concerning considering their skill levels. I hope one of them shocks us all.

Seems like juwan saying he could decIde by the end of the weekend means it is Vandy or us.

If it was 100% Vandy I don't think he'd make the trip, and I can't see him announcing his Vandy commitment while in Bloomington.

If his official visit ends and he goes home without pulling the trigger for IU, the Vandy chances skyrocket.

I'm sure Vandy is nice and all, but wait until he hangs out here for a weekend. I'm wondering if he realizes that he needs to weigh this particular option before he goes and does something rash.

Don't know how to read this latest development and all the crystal ball flips to Vandy--but if he makes it to Btown this weekend and he is as smart as everyone says he is---and he wants to play basketball at a top notch program while getting a top notch business education---then this is a no-brainer ---it should be IU!

Another CB for Vandy. I'll leave it alone until this weekend and see what transpires. I tend to trust these CB swings.

Yeah, late swings don't usually go against the predictions. This isn't as late as it was with Blackmon though.

I always wonder why these people switch their CB picks? Is it because all of them have inside info or they all just want to follow the first person to switch? Sure, the swings are usually right on, but I want to know what kind of information there is. I think his OV here could be big. He will love it.

Are the swings really right on? Wasn't Robert Johnson swinging UNC right up until his commitment? There are other examples, just can't recall them at the moment.

My view of the crystal ball is that a lot of swings happen when a player is on a visit or shortly there after, which I don't think is really based on inside info, more just "hey he visited school X and said good things, they must be making a move".

Technically, RoJo was all UNC all the way according to the crystal ball. I would say the swing to Kentucky for JBJ was off, but they all swung back right before the commitment. Sure, there are a few that have been wrong, but they seem to be right more often than not.
