It goes beyond having a good year next year. He would need to be able to sustain it. He built it once and couldn't. He is on the cusp to having it built again. He can't have another drop off like we did the past 2 seasons.
If we land Bryant he will be a Big Ten title contender for sure.

I'm not disagreeing. I want a change. I was just stating if he stays for next year he must have us poised to be good the following year as well. Sustained success is my biggest gripe.

I still contend that Crean's use of Bryant is irrelevant so long as he goes somewhere inside that arched thing. Bryant's presence alone should force defenses to soften their hold on the perimeter. If CTC can't find a way for one of the deepest 3-Pt shooting teams in the country (with a perimeter player to draw some focus and a PG capable of driving) to get consistent looks I will kneel before the throne of Alford Bailey.
