MikeRoberts Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Anyone have the tweets and posts from UK fans saying they did not want Bryant and that he was not good enough after he visited the first time and his mom said it was just to visit friends and that he wasn't considering them? Anyone have those to share with him? ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 They ARE the favorite in most cases but they only need 1 player per position usually, so there is one bride and lots of brides maids. Thomas Bryant is not their priority but the inverse may not be true. They already have Skal, they are looking for Zimmerman too. ALASKA HOOSIER, jonz44 and IUsafety 3 Quote

If they get Zim too, we would have to be in the drivers seat I would think. Edit: Maybe not on Rabb, he lists Cal and Arizona as the schools on him most. Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 They have Skal. They are after Zimmerman, Diallo, Rabb, Bryant, Ingram and Swanigan. Skal is 6'10''. Ingram is more of a PF, but the others have "C" height. Dakari Johnson and Marcus Lee are likely coming back. Ridiculous those others are even considering UK. Quote

Popular Post Walking Boot of Doom Posted February 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted February 10, 2015 Honestly, not trying to knock TB, but he doesn't seem to be in that elite category of players Kentucky has and will pull from this 2015 class. The kid is outstanding, but I wonder how much run he'd get. He could own the 5 at IU. We would then have Hanner backing him up, with Troy and Holt at the 4. We'd have such a solid front court rotation. Depending on who leaves, that could be a Final Four team. Plus, if Yogi is thinking of leaving, adding Bryant might add to the chances he stays. This kid would be such a huge get for the team. Napleshoosier, WayneFleekHoosier, scots07 and 8 others 11 Quote

Beowulf50 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I'm not glorifying UK if thats what you think.I cant stand them but Nerlens Noel would have been No 1 had he not been hurt and went 6th anyway. I watched every game that Cody and Vonleh played while they were here and I saw multiple games where they posted and had their defender sealed begging for the ball only to get looked off for a bad jump shot. TV announcers were even yelling throw him the ball.To say they were the ones totally at fault in being under utilized tells me someones not really watching or are so in love with this system they choose to ignore what their seeing. I dont think Cody was any better as a sophomore than he was a frosh.Stronger for sure, but not much better as a player. If we develop bigs so much how come we cant get one to come when we are so glaringly in need of one? They should be beating the door down to get in to play for such a developer of bigs. Woodson I'm not saying totally at fault at all. I'm saying when you have the talent to make plays inside and your teammates pass you up you get on their ass. Cody and Noaha we're not very vocal in that regard as it seems to me. We should not be having this much trouble getting a premier big when it is our current glaring weakness. They have to be highly mobile and willing to run and at this point I don't know how many like that are out there other than Maker and to a lesser extent Bryant. My brother and I were talking and he mentioned Markus Lee at KY as being the perfect type big for this system and I think he was dead on.I know we really recruited him hard.
