Alford Bailey Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I will say this about Marquette as well...I have always felt bad for Carlino. The kids dad was/is a complete nutjob. For Matt to finally look comfortable and moderately happy..good for him. Marquette still has little discipline from the 2-4, but I do expect Wojo to get that sorted out in a season or two. I am not saying they are/will be a Final Four caliber team, but I do think they can work their way up as this season progresses. Yes, its one game with Fischer in the lineup, but I would say he changes their team completely and Wojo isn't a guy to overlook that. Never was a Duke or a Wojo fan, but I was impressed with his team and his approach last night. He's got a heck of a class coming in. A final four in a year or two wouldnt surprise me. JSHoosier Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I took 12 or 13 in a high school game. Luckily, they were falling that night. I didn't play high school hoops. Usually played pick up games during lunch, some of the guys I played against did play. Most I took was 7 and made 5 that day, my confidence was pretty high after a baseline pull-up jumper early. BGleas Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Would be great to seek flexibility to cancel it. @MikeMillerHT: Glass also said IU has reached out to Bankers Life FH and 3 Crossroads schools in the past seeking flexibility with Crossroads scheduling. Hutch89 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Would be great to seek flexibility to cancel it. They either need to make it a two-day event (first and third place games the second day) or expand it to 8 schools. We gain very little from playing in this. It's only news if we lose to Butler and nobody cares about playing Notre Dame. Quote
