I'm concerned about Bama getting hot and upsetting UConn. But if it ends up being UConn vs Purdue, I'm pretty confident UConn will run away with it. Becoming a huge Huskies fan for the next 8 days

How deep was the '83 NC State team?

I don't think so, they have to have the best crews on the final four.  Nobody wants to see early foul trouble.  None of the ticky-tack BS calls that he got in the B1G!

So has Purdue had a B1G crew every single game this year? Been that way every game this year.

Seeds beating other seeds. So many blanks where it's probably impossible for it to happen. Don't think you'll ever see a 15 vs a 1.

I didn't watch a second of anything Purdoo after the game but from the headlines and comments I've seen elsewhere it seems like Edey is allowing his inner a**hole to bloom.

Whatever. Lose next week, try your hand at the NBA, and get used to getting "looked over" again. Guys like Anthony Edwards are salivating at the thought of dunking on your face.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever posted saying I’m an NC State alum who also considers himself a bigger Indiana fan but I’m saying it now. I love this NC State team. To be honest I think burns will have 3 fouls in the first 5 mins against edey but my goodness has this team been fun to watch. I’m a younger Indiana fan (25) and this run has been so much freaking fun. I just hope I can experience it for my number one team.

I know some of you can’t fathom rooting for another team outside of Indiana. My dad went there and instilled this fandom in me since I was a youngin. but growing up in North Carolina I just couldn’t afford the out of state tuition. Seeing these guys beat UNC and Duke multiple times on this run is not going to do me any favors when I delusionally think whatever Indiana team we have next can make a similar run.

All of this to say I want nothing more than for DJ Burns and the Wolfpack to beat the mfers from up north and continue their streak of losing to double digit seeds. I’m on an emotional high right now and will spend the entire week convincing myself of one simple statement that has been ringing true for the last 3 weeks “why not us”

That's awesome.  I had not really watched NC state until the acc tourney.  I don't know what clicked for them but they are on quite the ride. It's been fun to watch.  I suspect 99.9% of this board will be cheering them on with you come Saturday night.
