Illinois looks good.

Really really good.

If the Big Ten is going to get its credibility back and win some national championships, this could be the team that could do it, and wouldn’t piss me off too badly if they did

Wisky 70-57 win over Sparty in East Lansing.  Would love to know what put Essegian in the Wisconsin doghouse after being a solid contributor last year.  Oh, and Xavier Booker didn't make the MSU box score.

I thought Sparty was supposed to be strong this year — typical slow start for Izzo team or are there underlying team weaknesses? (Haven’t watched them play)

Marquette/Texas probably game of the night but a big in the state of Indiana tonight

Fort Wayne/So Indiana at 8

Fort Wayne favored by 7.5 although probably need confirmation from @johnsoniu if that’s correct because I screwed the line from  yesterdays ISU game

Can confirm, that is accurate.

Presently taking out loans to put every penny I can scrounge up on Ball St getting 1 point at Detroit tonight.

They have pretty much the same team as last year, with the addition of three highly ranked freshmen and without Hauser who was their second leading scorer and leading rebounder. Needless to say, Xavier Booker is no Joey Hauser. So two of those freshmen are barely seeing the floor, and the one that does, Carr, is more an athlete than a basketball player at this point.

Their team last year was decent, but not special at 21-13, 11-8. Guessing that's about where they are again.

Walker has been good but Hoggard hasn’t been. He was their best playmaker against us last year, imo. I think they’ll figure it out but they’re not top 5 like everyone assumed preseason.

Xavier Booker isn't very good, who could have predicted that? Oh, pretty much everyone on this board.

I'm also not surprised about Carr. It was known he's athletic but raw as a player.

I see less skill with flory. I believe motor was the issue with Booker

Yes, motor and a question about his dedication to basketball. He has the physical tools to be a very good player. Mentally? Not so much.
