Kepner Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 Purdue looks really good. Swanigan probably doesn't have the lateral movement to defend Troy consistently, but dude's offensive game is much more diverse than I thought it would be coming out of high school. I think they are starting to figure out how to use him cause when I watched them a few times earlier this year he looked lost on offense and looked to not fit in on their scheme Quote

OliviaPope40 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Agree on Fischer. I've watched Marquette a few times this year and he was their most consistent player and a leader. He would have helped us a lot. Luke who? rebelhoosier848891 1 Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Sorry Olivia--Zeller ain't walking back through that door. I miss him too--but TB looked better tonight. Hope he keeps working hard and progressing! Quote

AKHoosier Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 UCLA hot right now. 2 big wins. They'll probably be ranked now, and deservedly so. But my worry is they stay in the top 25 throughout the year, have a pretty good season and get to the Sweet 16, then we interview and hire him if there is a change here. Regardless, UCLA playing pretty well right now. Impressive to win at Gonzaga. Good week for them. LazOffTheBench 1 Quote

Good week for them.if Alford is doing good at ucla why would he consider coming to iu where scrutiny and expectations would be sky high. I think you are safe not to worry about that. Ucla is just as good of basketball program as iu imo Quote

rebelhoosier848891 Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Saw that too USPS. The Johnnies were in control much of the game. Hopefully Creighton, St. Johns and ND (assuming we take care of business) turn out to be decent wins to balance the losses to Wake, UNLV and Duke. Then let's turn it up in the Big Ten! And---I will say it again---I think we should beat everybody at home. We play at another level at home even when overmatched. That's why we have beaten more top ranked teams then almost anybody else in the contry the last five years or so. When they come to The Hall----You rank'em ---We spank'em! Str8Hoosiers 1 Quote
Hovadipo Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 I hate to say this, I really do...but you can just tell that Houston is very well coached. It's a shame that Sampson chose not to follow rules (on multiple levels) because he is a great X's and O's man. Alford Bailey 1 Quote

I always wondered if he could have brought us to Elite status. Never was sure he could have but he had a shot. He had good success at Oklahoma on the court too. Quote

I was fairly young so I don't remember much detail from the Sampson era, but it seemed like we were getting there maybe? I don't know for sure, I mean those were talented teams looking back at least. I strongly believe that there are a couple of trustees that have Alford as their backup candidate if BS says no. Have heard this from a couple of different people. Hoping ol BS says yes Napleshoosier and Alford Bailey 2 Quote
