Had we supported Sampson and not self reported history could be very different

Well after that season more than half the team would have been ineligible because of grades.  He was not the right coach for IU and I thank god every day he is not the coach at IU

Wow there were 4 games today with 8 teams and only two scored over 70 points with a high of 72.  It is such inept offense and don't really blame the players because the coaches uses this horrible system they use in college today.  they micro manage every possession and mainly walk the ball up even after misses.  the other night watching the 87 final four game against UNLV the score at the 16 minute mark of the second half was 67-63

So you mean cheated and turned a blind eye?  If that’s the game we want to play, how many titles would we have iv we hired hookers for our players?

If you are equating making too many phones with getting hookers for players one of which isn’t even against the rules you seem to be unwilling to exist in the realm of grey that you have to in order to be successful.

I’m willing for the program to play in the grey as they did for many years without people being all pissy about it. The “greatest coach in college ball” allowed for something’s to go on. What I’m not willing to actively root for is the level of muck that existed off the court in the Sampson era. We’ve been through this more than once so I’ll leave it at that. The texts and phone calls are no big deal, the culture is absolutely a big deal.

Sampson had been caught previously and knew the potential consequences. I’m not sure why people want to forget about the five year show cause.

My god, what is Texas thinking?   lol

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne

Brooklyn Nets assistant coach @ROYALTIVEY interviewed for the Texas job on Sunday, sources told ESPN.  Ivey was a key player on the Longhorns Final Four team in 2003 and there is strong support for him amongst Texas alumni —most notably @KDTrey5

That's who Kevin Durant has advocated for.

Creighton hasn't played horribly and Gonzaga is up 16...  Don't see how they lose in this tourney unless they just don't show up.

Creighton is such a good matchup for Gonzaga, they could play 50 times & I’m not sure Creighton ever wins. Would like to see them play USC. With their length they have a chance to muddy the game up. Would have liked to see Mich if Livers was healthy. But, yeah, they’re easily the best team.
