It was terrible for football because it places more emphasis on what happens at the end of the season and week to week instead of looking at the whole body of work. I feel the real process should not start until the regular season ends. The conference tournaments should only affect the auto bids. if this selection show is just speculation then that is completely fair and fine, but this is being presented as this is the committees actual picks as of now. That’s a bad precedent to start in my opinion. Not quite sure how their NIL stacks up with the rest of the Big East but I’m guessing it’s at the bottom with Seton Hall. Personally I feel they should have stayed in the A-10 when they made the move there instead of jumping right into the Big East.
