McDermott would have them turned around so fast. OSU would be top 3 in the conference no doubt.....

After Holtmann turned them down the first time they went after McDermott and he turned the job down which made OSU offer more money to Holtmann who then took the job.   McDermott would be a great hire for any school.   His offense when it’s clicking is basketball porn

Am i misremembering or didn’t Greg have an agreement with OSU before they hired holtman that fell apart? He’s a great coach but he’s 60 so hopefully he doesn’t want to leave.

He turned them down

So, a football school doesn't even wait for the season to end to fire its basketball coach, after firing the previous coach, who just happened to be the winningest coach they've ever had. It must be nice to have an athletic department managed by people who demand excellence, aren't interested in excuses, and don't give a damn about "optics," people's feelings or what anyone says about them on social media. They just expect greatness and they usually get it. Their athletic department puts ours to shame.

McDermott is actually kind of a fascinating deal. His name comes up on every job and the guy has seemingly never entertained actually leaving and he doesn’t leverage it into extension after extension. Dude just seems perfectly happy where he is.

Paris is from Ohio.  That is the guy I think they target.  But what the hell do I know....

Gamblers Anonymous meeting at 8 if anyone needs a ride.

Taking IUPUI and the 5.5 points. Being an underdog to a winless team has to be some motivation, doesn’t it?!

Not getting a taste of the money line? It is Mike Davis on the other sideline…

Certianly Ohio State will follow our lead and hire a former player ...

Chris Jent (L.A. Lakers assistant -- been an NBA, G-League, European assistant for 30 years)

Scoonie Penn (Memphis Grizzlies assistant)

Andrew Dakich (Illinois State assistant and yes, Dan's boy)

Certainly, given the Hairless Nuts' rich tradition, their fan base will cry out for an alumnus to get the gig.

That's the path they'll follow -- I just know it. They'll look at our success and see that's the only way!!!

LOL.  Interestingly enough I have seen Jent and Penn's names mentioned on Buckeye boards(yes, I follow other teams forums on occasion).

Don't get my hopes up, Penn St was missing their alleged top scorer too

They've played several teams this year missing a major starter, usually their lead scorer. I'm pretty sure they struggled in each one of those games.
