And yet IU got a pretty darn good set of recruits during the portal time — two burger boys, a double digit scorer from the MAC and a rotational player from a final four team. I was concerned that he would miss out on players because of his surgery, but the bottom line is schools with attractive opportunities and NIL are going to sell themselves.
