I’m 100% confident you’re right. But I hope not. I think he’d have a chance to be one of the next generation of faces of the game type college coaches. Just not a lot of guys of an age and at a program that really lend themselves to that sort of stature. Even in today’s media environment. Oats? Maybe Cronin? Even Few and Wright and Muss are pushing 60. Izzo, Cal, obviously Boeheim, have to be following Roy and K out the door soon enough. Self’s already 1 of those guys. He’s got, what, maybe 10-12 more years. Will be interesting to see who grows into shoes that big.

OK, so I'm biased -- and I think SSAH is the best place in the B1G. 

But the more I see from Katz, the more I begin to wonder exactly how much he knows about the conference. This is a guy who rated Northwestern and Minnesota ahead of IU in the BIG's most scenic campuses. Hell, he had us fifth -- that's insane!

This isn't the first time he's blown his nut about Mackey. I just don't get it.

Not saying it's better than Assembly Hall, but Maryland is legit as far as the atmosphere. It is one of the best in the country. 

I've been to a few games there, including a game where they upset #1 Duke, and that place is nuts. The student section is big, organized and insane. 

Again, not saying it's the best, and their building doesn't have the history of an Assembly Hall, Phog Allen, or Cameron Indoor, but Maryland's atmosphere is right up there.

No, Maryland is up there with the best. Their student section is great.

Yep. I live in Maryland now and have been to an IU-Maryland game. Their fanbase is passionate.

Yeah setting up that way.   It will be curious to see if he is able to coach the way he always has coached with the higher ranked kids.    His thing was always kind of an underdog way of coaching.  Let’s see how he coaches when he is far from an underdog.    He will have every advantage any of the top coaches will have

So.. I was in Vegas, I had just had nice hit on a slot, the Capt Morgan was delicious, there was a cool looking betting kiosk I was dying to play with like a new toy. So WHY NOT!?
