Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 That's a more logical answer than the Davis you were actually talking about. No I thought MKG was better than Anthony Davis. If he would have had a normal shot, MKG would be a star. No doubt about it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Uspshoosier Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Are the kids taking the money from shoe companies then signing with the g league anyway?Maybe but it wouldn’t be Nix. He didn’t play AAU on the shoe circuits. His recruitment was unconventional for a 5 star Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app jk34 1 Quote

Someone still needs to explain to me what in the Hell Painter was doing when he decided that Brandon Newman needed to be redshirted last year. They'll still have Wheeler and Stefanovic (redshirt juniors, essentially seniors). Redshirting tends to pay off in the long run, especially in scenarios like this. I wish we'd had the luxury of redshirting players over the years, but Crean was allergic to the concept and we've been so starved for impact players in the Archie Miller era that it really hasn't been an option recently. IMO, guys that redshirt and then stick around for four years are unicorns....I don’t think it occurs enough to use it as a strategy. And with the new transfer rules coming up, I really think even less of it. cchuntsman 1 Quote
