I realize none of this is going to change your mind on this (or apparently anything), but Hate speech is protected under the first amendment. That doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. That is why someone could be punished for calling someone a bigoted slur, but that doesn't mean that the police are going to throw you in jail for it. Which is what happened here. Hate speech isn’t a real thing. It’s just a made up term that people use to describe words they don’t like. It’s not actually a thing. Again, this should have been simple. Akinjo is off limits in my book now. Either he’s involved or he quit on his team. Either way it’s a pass mdn82, Defenserocks28 and Class of '66 Old Fart 3 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Twitter topics.Anyone see the tweet where IUBB had a $500 dollar carry out order from I think BJs Brewhouse with 25 specific named orders and didn’t leave a tip? That poor basketball manager. The hostess/waitress tweeted the signed receipt but has since taken it down. SO......What is everyone’s idea about tipping on a carry out order? I usually tip 5 to 10 percent on a carry out order but it depends on order and place. I’m sure some of you saw it. Dakich did. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote

Asking on behalf of Patrick Ewing. Ask Uncle Izzo or Alford! Respect to Ewing here - big impact to his season at a time when he has a lot of pressure to prove himself. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersI am a cook at a fancy resort and I still wouldn’t tip. Why? Where would the top go? To the servers who likely did nothing? I can gurantee it isn’t going to the kitchen who did all the work. Now dining in, it depends if I know what the servers make. They make $4 an hour, I’ll tip them more than someone that makes minimum wage. If they make $15 an hour, they don’t get tipped. But for carry-out, I’ll never tip because it’ll never go where it should be servers are generally greedy as hell. Hoosierfan2017 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I could possibly see the argument that it's poor form because they bought so much food, but I've never tipped on carryout and have never thought twice about it. As I’ve aged and have a little more money, I usually throw in a small tip for carry out, if they are putting things together. Not usually for a pizza though. It’s an interesting debate. Her tweeting was definitely a bad look. It was a big order but isn’t that what she is paid to do? Hourly? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
