Magnanimous Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Tony Carr from Penn State is going pro and hiring an agent. If he had come back, I actually think Penn State would have contended for the conference next year. Now they lose their star PG and have no bench. Probably missing the tournament next season as well, although Stevens and Watkins will be two of the better players in the conference. thebigweave and IUsafety 2 Quote

Both of their starting guards (Carr and Garner) are gone; those two averaged about 86% of the guard minutes per game and about 71% of the team's made three point shots. Their recruiting class has no top 150 players. ebridges24, Iugradman and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

That size was very hard to account for in college and would still be hard to account for in the NBA. He’s huge. And hits Free throws. It’ll be a big loss for Purdue. Now only if C.Edwards bolted too. NBA bigs are bigger, stronger, more athletic, and have a skill set outside of being big. I guess maybe he could make it in the G league Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote

Popular Post Uspshoosier Posted April 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted April 2, 2018 As another awesome college basketball season comes to an end this year I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure following it here with the great group of people on this site. For those that hibernate during the summer I look forward to picking up the IU and college basketball conversations at the beginning of next year’s season. For those that are still here following the summer AAU circuit I look forward to continuing the basketball talk. I love this sport. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appIn college he could overpower other bigs while not being taken advantage of with pace. In the NBA the pace will be too much for him. Haarms has to get get better skills and something resembling a jumper. He's pretty athletic for his size. He might not make it but that's the type of 5 that's in the league now. Stuhoo Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I find it hard to believe that Haarms will be at PeeYew four years. He’s already in his twenties and 7’3” with quick bounce is a unique talent set.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
