I figured the HSN forum there had a chance of going away with the Scout merger, which it appears happened. However, I can't even access anything related to Indiana (non forum). Can't look at commitment lists, Crystal Ball predictions, etc. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm able to look at the forum and check out the threads that are on there. Quote

Since they merged with Scout if you had a Scout login that is the one you will want to use. When they merge sites it jacks everything up.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 I was on HSN back when I knew what I was doing and then after HSN closed shop and then I followed everybody to 247 and I'm currently on there and now I'm here because I liked the original concept and I liked mdn and some of the others from HSN. Last season and this season I have no clue who I am anymore I don't recognize myself. Quote
Josh Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Edit: I would expect you to stand up for your current mods. That is why Josh doesn't like me cause I did the same for you after that PM thread I still have of him bitching about you. [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appYes, we clearly had that PM thread. I wasn't fond of either of you at that point. That's actually around time I started seeing the mood of the mods change for the better here. It went from instigating to moderating. You can blame the team's successes and failures if you like, but it was a big shift. Perhaps my complaining helped move things along lol. You're still an instigator. I am too. It's why we're not fit for modding. [emoji4] Quote
Stromboli Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 As a guy that looked around this season as the Hoosiers did their nose dive, this site is far and away the best option. I joined because I like the membership, information, and generally respectful and lighthearted discussion. It does seem like all of a sudden things got chippy in the last 2 weeks. They still have to sit out a year. This is now the third altercation I have heard about them. First being KJ going on a profanity laced tired against Tubby on snapchat. Then the brothers getting into some kind of an altercation with an ex-Memphis player during a pickup game and now this. These guys are trouble! I was blocked a while back for responding to a tweet of his that said something like "it shows a sign of weakness and lack of mental toughness when players put their hands on their knees during a game" I tweeted a pic of Michael Jordan doing that exact thing and got blocked lol. The guy has incredibly thin skin. He blocked me too, many years ago... it's good to have multiple accounts. :D ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote

Popular Post woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted July 31, 2017 Popular Post Posted July 31, 2017 I was a member of HSN before it merged and enjoyed it, although I didn't post much. I left when it merged. I stayed away from forums for awhile and mainly posted about IU on FB IU groups and usually only during basketball season. I'm glad I found this site and hope to post more. I will rarely post during games. I like to keep my attention on the game. I also help out at the local school's basketball games at all levels and both boys and girls. So I watch a lot of games on DVR. I never miss a game though, lol. I don't follow recruiting as close as a lot of you, so I enjoy your insights. Now that he is back on twitter and posting all of these coaching messages, I see a common response to his tweets saying "that didn't happen when you coached IU" or "where was that the last 9 years". Kind of entertaining so it's worth a follow imo. reconmkd, thebigweave and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

When he first got to IU, he was quite active on twitter with mostly religious posts... and occasionally basketball-related stuff... then things at IU started downhill, the "Coach Clappy" crap started, and people started replying and tweeting at him about his coaching style, etc. When this first happened, he started blocking people who were critical of his style/ability/performance, and eventually just stopped tweeting altogether... now that he's not coaching, there is nothing for the masses to criticize, so he's back, sharing his wealth of coaching knowledge for all the world to absorb. At least that's how I see it. (I could be wrong.) :D TXHoosierDaddy 1 Quote
