Coach K is far from a fraud!! He has so much respect through basketball circles that that statement is just ridiculous. Let's not over exaggerate what happened with Thornton. OT: But do people realize how horrible Sam Hinkie is at his job now. It doesn't help that apparently the 76ers are choosing the kids who have huge character issues apparently, but that is on Hinkie for hiring those people. Okafor has had off the court issues, Embid can't get healthy or stop eating junk food, and now this with Noel

You really think so? He left the 76ers in a pretty good position honestly. Young assets, draft picks, cap room. I'd rather be the 76ers than say the Knicks.

I think so. He has them set up perfectly but he's shown so far that he likely would've screwed that up. I think Colangelo will do wonders with the assets though but I doubt Hinkie would have.

Bryan Colangelo is an absolutely awful GM. He was a mess with the Raptors. I'd much rather have Hinkie.

Hinkie at least had an actual plan. That's more than what most front offices have.

Chris Beard named head coach at UNLV about a week ago and apparently has already jumped ship for Tubby Smith's vacant position at Texas Tech.  If true, the UNLV program must be a total cesspool.
