My problem with IU Indy this year is that they went right back to what doomed Matt Crenshaw; he lived and died by the three point line, and Ben Howlett is doing the same thing.  That may work in Division II, but it's not going to help in Division I.

Home court is everything in college hoops. Especially in the B1G. Bottom barrel teams can be good teams. I guess that’s fun? Crazy how much home court means.

Marquette likely to drop to 5-6 today, and this one on Purdues home floor here in an hour or 2. Shaka Smart is down bad.

 

Wonder if Shaka changes his tune after this failure of a year.

My wife works for a financial planner in the Phoenix area. They recently signed a deal with Grand Canyon University to manage retirement accounts for their employees. Part of the deal was the company getting blocks of tickets to the 'Lopes basketball games throughout the season. The first game in the deal is tonight against Coastal Carolina, and the wife managed to score 4 court-side seats... I'm so looking forward to that experience!

So I will be recording the IU-pUKe game. Please, don't anyone post about that game until I can get home and watch it. :D :D :D

It’ll be a Q3 win at worst. And we won by more than PU and we were on a neutral court. Wish it were better but it’ll be fine. We’re gonna ride or die during conference and thankfully the B1G is good this year.

Does Creighton have a giant NIL problem? How can a basketball school with a great coach in a major conference have a roster this bad? Do they have a bunch of kids hurt?

I think they spent money on Freeman and Dix and they haven’t been what they thought they would just yet.    Their NIL is respectable in the Big East

Nah.  Neutral court wins against Power 4 teams are always going to have value.   At worst it’s a win  away from home which is important.  Also I’m guessing in conference they will knock off enough teams at home to make their NET better then it is now
