Yogi's Picnic Basket Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 I agree with you rankings aren't the end all be all in the 30-200 range. For example, I like Justin Smith and Clifton Moore better than Jordan Tucker. I also agree about College success and NCAA success are different. Of Note. Ben Simmons and Noah Vonleh. I DO think 5 star players in general are VERY good and getting multiple players like that will make you a winner in NCAA with all other things being equal. Last thought. Landing primary or secondary targets has always been important to me and I think it reflects on "our/your" program. We start off offering 5 stars, then 4 stars, then 3, then UR. To me, public perception of that is that our staffs recruiting assessments often mirror the corporate ratings. Also, when you miss down the line it's a bad look. Sent from my iPad using BtownBannersSmith & Moore have huge upsides!! I think both of these guys are gonna make us happy. I could see both being top 50 guys. I don't expect a JBJ or Victor impact but I see them both having a middle of rojo with Moore having potential as a OG, Vic type kid.Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Cody out another game. Good numbers from CWat but limited minutes due to foul trouble. Sheehey has not played in several games and last night his name did not even appear in the Raptors905 box score. Don't know if that means anything or not. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Mavs win streak came to an end, but Yogi had another steady game and the team was +7 while he was on the court. Vic's shooting touch re-appeared. Cody misses yet another game. Troy with a strong shooting night. Don't know what to make of Sheehey. He's still listed on the teams website as on the roster but has not appeared in several games and not even listed in the box score. And, I haven't seen any kind of injury report on Will.
