Ummm...on a privately run and owned website you can be banned for using the word "the".

 

If you don't like the opinions or choices made by the mods, you can vote with your feet.

If the mods don't like your opinions or word choices, they can ban your sorry backside.

 

And any amount of whining or name calling won't change those facts.  In fact, the whining and name calling will make you look like a teeny tiny child who just threw a big snotty on-line tantrum.

 

And in my opinion, that's exactly what you've just done.

If you don't like the rules of someone else's house.  You don't go.  Simple as that.  If you don't like what in the hell I have to say, you can leave.  Why in the hell or how in the hell did this become political?  Some people's mind are just so simple they can't accept the fact that there are things like common courtesy.  They look for reasons they can't even comprehend, so they jump to this.

As one of the first few to be a member here, I feel as if I get a word or two on this subject. I am on the side with the the moderators here. They are actually on our side to make this a place where we can state our opinion without offending others. Say what you want, whenever you want but there are still rules for a fair playing field.
I don't always agree with the mods or the posters but I understand how it works. It is not hard, say what you want but do not attack anyone, players or posters, and then read the replys. Rules are rules and they are here for a reason.
Not to mention the last time I checked everyone who complains pays no dues, or is a VIP member of btb. Correct me if I am wrong, please.

You think we are crazy with are rules, lol, but you are getting mad and can't comply with MESSAGE BOARD RULES? Just stop, obey the rules, or leave. We are here to allow civil discussion, but people have to follow the guidelines. It's not hard, we are all adults! How hard is it to follow forum guidelines? I don't know who you think you are, but you are no better than anyone, and not above our rules. Like Mdn said, leave if you have a problem with it and won't adjust!

The term was used in a derogatory way towards a player or coach. I'll never understand why some people feel as though they can just post anything that comes to their mind anonymously on the internet without repercussions. And it isn't everyone else being too "touchy" on the subject
