Overall it was the most satisfying too early glimpse of an IU team in quite a while.  I come away with abundant guarded optimism.

Our 3pt shooting finally looks to be much improved - good accuracy from multiple players.

Sokolov was definitely better than what I expected.  It got me thinking his points were our first from a German player since Uwe, then it occurred to me that maybe the first since the wall came down (yikes).

I can't find anything..kind of frustrating.

I’ll never understand how an organization that basically is a mid 8-figure business can’t get streaming right. I can stream HS basketball games and second  tier Russian bear wrestling no problem. But if you want to see an IU exhibition game…sorry, best we can do is a choppy 2005 liveleak stream.

I sent them feedback on their streaming link to please leave this to the professionals, like the college students at BTN+.

Honestly, that third tier is where it's at. Tier one and tier two are child's play.

My thoughts: we look huge. Balanced scoring. Samet is GIANT, if you don’t bring help over to him he’ll do his baby hook over you, it’s almost automatic. He’s really good at getting deep and setting himself up for success. His gravity got shooters open.

Sam Alexis looks faster and moved his feet really well.

Sherrell looked a little rushed but his effort was there and made him shine.

Manhertz looks like he did fill out more from May to now. His length was really disruptive.

Lindsay and Burton are great and both provide in different ways.

Rebounding will be a major positive for us.

Good Lord if jockitch is actually positive on IU that’s a big bit of optimism

Doubt it’s genuine positivity from him.   I haven’t followed him since he had a local radio show but his move normally was pump them up before the season started and then trash them when they feel short of his inflated expectations of them.   It was like clockwork.  I’m sure he is doing the same thing nowadays as well

Looking for a decent analysis and video critique of the exhibition game against Butler.  Where's Ectofiber and  ExPatHoosier when we need them?

Became a grandpa on Friday, so I had forgotten about this one. Thanks for all your thoughts on this one

Dude, the game was Sunday (2 days later) !!!  /vbg

Seriously though, congrats... done that 17 times, and it gets better every time, if you can imagine!
