Should've punched Neuheisel for calling us the University of Indiana. 1st demerit for Coach.

He should know from all those NCAA tourney pools back in the day!

At the risk of being the only not severely-frustrated guy here, if I were forced to choose one player from Indiana Football or Basketball whose fifth year survives this shite show, it would be Sam Alexis. So... yay!(?)

Gettin’ closer.  This ep is especially good.

My first time seeing Turbo. He is shifty and Quick! This team is going to run the heck out of the football. There may be whole games like Khobie second halves.

I'd still put approximately 3 US dollars on us seeing Daley and Wyatt play for IU this season.

This is all such a joke, I have a hard time caring either way.

He is safe.

Even by the current “standards” of college sports, the idea that the only distinguishing factor between an Alexis being eligible and a Wyatt or Daley being eligible is venue is freaking parody.

The season just needs to start.

Aren't there a couple of other cases also like in Ohio which started it all?  There really needs to be some legislative action done for all of this to stabilize it because it just takes one player who got angry about a the NCAA telling them he can't play to file a lawsuit to change everything.

At this point the NCAA just needs to cry uncle. I had no problem with them not grandfathering in 5th year kids. New policies always have to start somewhere and most of the time someone gets jobbed a little bit during implementation. But you just can’t have a scenario where you have 2 kids with identical arguments and 1’s playing and 1’s not and the only distinction is venue. That’s bull$hit and indefensible. If they can’t win everywhere, and they obviously haven’t, then they need to just go with it.

Burnham, Burrus & company make this ruling a non-factor. IU can only get better by Daley/Wyatt but isn’t a huge position of need in my estimation

Agree most notably because the two names mentioned are good players, but probably aren't even starters lol.

As I'm sure many of you are reading, Daley and Wyatt:

- Can still practice

- They would need to get their own injunction or TRO

We'll see.  Maybe IU is doing some judge shopping today.

I was thinking they could get a guy in Indy who could hear their case.

Monroe County doesn’t have a couple IU grad judges or what? Lol..

Not sure if this info has merit but I did see a post on Twitter saying it’s a national decision so getting an injunction or TRO becomes harder. Again I don’t know the laws just passing on what I read. Sucks for both guys. They would have been in the NFL this year had their injuries not derailed their seasons. Should be allowed to play. How do you just exclude the 2022 class from a 5th year?  Giving the Covid players an extra year and then everyone except 2022 an extra year seems crazy. The NCAA is such a joke.

Without reading the opinion and just guessing, I bet the NCAA succeeded on the improperly granted class-status.

All the state court guys aren’t covered and none of the federal court guys outside the 10th circuit would be affected anyways. It only “applies nationally” because the judge certified the players as a nation-wide class to begin with.

Judges be stupid sometimes. But judged hoping to score political/publicity  points be stupid most of the time.
