Agreed. UCONN was a joke when I was attending IU, and throughout my 20’s, but now……this is their 7th Final Four since the last time IU was in a Final Four. Never, EVER, dreamed that would happen. They have 6 titles and all have come since '99. Just insane for a program across multiple coaches. Some people filled out their brackets with the "OSOC" model that has accurately predicted the last 17 champions. It's a very simple model. One seed or Connecticut. I still favor the winner of Arizona-Michigan, but that finish against Duke feels like the type of thing that could spark UConn playing their best ball of the season with just two games left. I think it's an All Big Ten final. ILL matches up a lot better vs Reed than Duke did.. and ILL has more options to score the basketball than Duke does. jermhoosierfan 1 Quote

Ive been on and off the Hurley train....I love the guy..and sometimes his antics drive me nuts....but that game winner yesterday and just to come back from a 19 point deficit.....the dude is a winner no doubt about it. Nothing guaranteed ILL -2.5 and ESPN has ILL at 59% chance to win.... ultimately, I just wasn't that impressed with Duke or UCONN yesterday. That game Wagler and Stojakovic combined for 6. Wagler before through the UCONN game-- 14PPG 4r 2a 43% FG, since the UCONN game-- 19PPG 5r 5a 45% FG I also think UCONN and AZ will be playing, basically, road games... come Saturday. Where as the game earlier in the year was in NYC. RoadRage 1 Quote

Pagoda Posted yesterday at 02:39 PM Posted yesterday at 02:39 PM Put me in the anyone but the B1G group. I sure as hell don’t like UM or Illinois. Arizona and UConn are much more out of sight out of mind for me. Home Jersey and Jeff Flabjohns 1 1 Quote

tyappleg Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM Posted yesterday at 02:53 PM My personal order would be: 1. Zona 2. Michigan (hate Michigan, like Dusty) 3. Illinois (hate Illinois) 4. UCONN (hate Hurley + recent success) RoadRage, BtownStrength and janaslama 3 Quote

Before NIL the perception in both football and basketball was we couldn’t compete at the top athletically. We’ve been killing it in football the last few years. Adding a basketball title would be great for the conference. As we move into whatever this next phase of NIL college athletics is, it’d be cool if it wasn’t the B1G and SEC dominating but maybe just the B1G and everyone else. tkbbn and Stuhoo 2 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM Posted yesterday at 03:09 PM I’m good either way with any of them winning as long as it’s a close game. If you are one the takes pride in the B1G then you would want them to win since it’s been 25+ years and the national media would love for that trend to continue (Adam Zagoria being the worse). You would think that the B1G has been trash in the tourney if you listen to them but numbers tell you they have been right there just haven’t won the Big one. For @Hovadiposake I hope Illinois doesn’t win though janaslama and Hovadipo 1 1 Quote
