NW Big man Arrinten Page is OUT tonight vs IU.

Had 10pts, 6rebs, 4ast,2steals vs IU in Feb. 

Obviously have to try and contain Martinelli as much as possible. Also guard Jake West dropped 16 on 3-5 from 3 when he averages 5ppg in Feb. 

NW essentially played 6 guys vs IU last time with Page out IU has to take advantage

With Arrinten Page out this is the type of game that Sam Alexis should be featured. He isn't big enough to operate against full-sized, defensive bigs, but against Tre Singleton and Tyler Cropp he should have a big night.

Page is a major loss for NW.

At the five spot defensively? Yes.

But Martinelli is a warrior and a far bigger challenge than anyone on Minnesota's roster.

Except Northwestern has the B1G leading scorer from the last 2 years.  That kid just plays hard and I will be glad when IU doesn’t have to play him anymore.   Would love to have a player like him on ius team.   Not the most talented but works his butt off every game.

re-watching the game from Feb, Conerway was soooooo good at getting to the rim vs NW guards ended with 14. Might not be a bad game to start the 3 guard line-up with Page out. Enright, Conerway, Lamar, Tucker, Alexis .

But Tyson doesn't wear teams out physically or draw two defenders often - Martinelli does.

We won’t play harder the Martinelli.  We don’t have defensive answers for much on this team.  Hopefully we play smart and hard.   Gotta really compete on the defensive end.  But…….then we will foul.  I love this team.
