At any rate IU had to contend with officiating that gave Miami an advantage. The no call on targeting…. Even before targeting rule that definitely was a personal foul plus a few holds and PIs favoring Miami. That really set the tone in Miami’s favor plus giving them confidence and disrupted IU play allowing Miami to stay within striking distance. BOTH TEAMS DISRUPTED EACH OTHER (IU got away with some as well but to a lesser extent as they were letting them play) BUT TOWARDS END OF GAME THE REF REMEMBERS TO THROW THE FLAG WHEN SHARPE TOOK HIS HELMET OFF FOR EXCESSIVE CELEBRATION which is the rule….the refs should have remembered other rules as well and threw the flag maybe a couple times against IU but also 5 or 6 more times against Miami. IU DESERVEDLY WAS ABLE TO PLAY THROUGH THE LOPSIDED OFFICIATING THAT WENT AGAINST THEM. BannerVille and ronzo4IU 2 Quote
