The fact that we will have to see him on the broadcast is disgusting.  Him taking that belt after the OSU game was something else.  I hope we beat them just to shut him up.

Oh I don't disagree. But we will catch the most **** talking of all time if we don't go down to South Beach and do what we're suppose to. That's the only way Miami shuts the F*** up... if you make them.

The “is IU capable of handling a team way bigger than them in the trenches?” narrative circle has come back to the 12:00 hour this morning. Seeing it in multiple places. It still feels like there are large sections of national media that haven’t watched this team play.

I feel like there is a large section that just don't want a school like IU to win because they are not the big dog of the past.  They are always showing reasons why they don't belong here and IU keeps proving them wrong and it hurts their ego.

Not that any extra motivation is needed for a NC game, but I dont think there is anything Haines hates more than being called too small.  We could see a Haines masterclass like no other on Monday.

I equate our line to the movie 300 ( crappy film but relevant). The opposition was bigger and stronger but the Trojans had form and technique to take down size and numbers.

Pat Coogan being here a year ago and losing is going to give an epic pregame speech

His presence and insight and inspiration all week will be huge, imho.  But this team is going to be incredibly focused and locked in, I truly believe.

Ohio State and Oregon both say "yes, yes they can".

If we can be effective against the run and turn this into a Carson Beck vs. Bryant Haines showdown, it is going to be cinema.

I think Miami D coordinator was who Haines studied under at JMU.  Not saying Haines isn't brilliant but I do think they run similar types of defenses.

Yep.  Not to mention all the guys from Florida who couldn’t even get a text message from the Hurricanes. The chip is still on their shoulder.

Darren Rovell thinks the stadium will be 65% IU fans. I sure hope he's right, and he's a giant dweeb who kind of owns this category, but I have trouble seeing that one.

I could see it.  Prices didn’t sky rocket after Miami won.  They sky rocketed after we won.

Miami fans didn’t need to get off work, rent cars and get hotels. There was nothing stopping them from ordering tickets Friday morning.  Yet demand went crazy after IU won.

I could also see it. And with ticket prices at 3k+, the advantage of not having to pay for a flight or hotel room isn't as high. Flight + hotel would be more than the ticket for most games, for this game it would likely be 25% or less of the total cost to go to game.

Let's also not forget that Miami has a large Cuban population that loves Mendoza.

For those wondering when they should buy, I would wait at least until IU fans get their ticket assignments which their email said wouldn't happen until Jan 15th at the earliest.

Supposed to get charged today. I'm hoping since they already know which general area that we're in, that we get seat assignments at least today and then tickets are available to download the 15th.
