But we will catch the most **** talking of all time if we don't go down to South Beach and do what we're suppose to. That's the only way Miami shuts the F*** up... if you make them. Banksyrules Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I wonder were Cigs focus will be on the film room. Presuming a majority of it will be focused on both lines of Miami. Even if he can find a small thing to exploit that could open up the floodgates. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Popular Post Hovadipo Posted January 12 Author Popular Post Posted January 12 The “is IU capable of handling a team way bigger than them in the trenches?” narrative circle has come back to the 12:00 hour this morning. Seeing it in multiple places. It still feels like there are large sections of national media that haven’t watched this team play. southsidehoosier, ray, Banksyrules and 5 others 8 Quote

I feel like there is a large section that just don't want a school like IU to win because they are not the big dog of the past. They are always showing reasons why they don't belong here and IU keeps proving them wrong and it hurts their ego. ALASKA HOOSIER and skhoosier2 2 Quote

Not that any extra motivation is needed for a NC game, but I dont think there is anything Haines hates more than being called too small. We could see a Haines masterclass like no other on Monday. skhoosier2, Dave from Dayton, ALASKA HOOSIER and 1 other 4 Quote

The opposition was bigger and stronger but the Trojans had form and technique to take down size and numbers. Quote

Not saying Haines isn't brilliant but I do think they run similar types of defenses. Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I can't find the exact quote but it was from one of the head coaches we beat this season. In essence, we find the opposing teams weakness and we make them do it all game long. Stuhoo and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

They sky rocketed after we won. Miami fans didn’t need to get off work, rent cars and get hotels. There was nothing stopping them from ordering tickets Friday morning. Yet demand went crazy after IU won. Quote

And with ticket prices at 3k+, the advantage of not having to pay for a flight or hotel room isn't as high. Flight + hotel would be more than the ticket for most games, for this game it would likely be 25% or less of the total cost to go to game. Let's also not forget that Miami has a large Cuban population that loves Mendoza. For those wondering when they should buy, I would wait at least until IU fans get their ticket assignments which their email said wouldn't happen until Jan 15th at the earliest. Quote

Supposed to get charged today. I'm hoping since they already know which general area that we're in, that we get seat assignments at least today and then tickets are available to download the 15th.
