Rose Bowl ticket requests are open in season ticket holder accounts. Priority deadline is Thursday. Maximum of 4 per holder, I put in my request (a lot cheaper than I paid this morning) and will see what happens.

I think Georgia got the best draw for game 1. Ole Miss is Ole Mess, and Tulane would worry me less than either Oklahoma or Alabama.

I’m not so sure.  I think Georgia will win but we’ve seen it a few times where teams with talent who fire their coach win games right after or at least play alot better.  I think a lot of it is teams don’t have film on the new staff

I've also seen it work the other way....guess it depends on how the players react to losing their head coach, likely the reason they came to the school in the first place.

My second favorite team in this playoff to win is Ole Miss just to shove it to Kiffen and the rest of the SEC.  I get it that it is LSU with the fertile recruiting base, but I just want to see them give him the middle finger after they win a game or 2.

oh another fun fact. Only two teams scored multiple offensive TDs on us this year. Old Dominion from our “soft” out of conference schedule and Penn State one with the help of a great block by an official.

Kind of depends on what you think of Ole Miss. there’s a good argument they shouldn’t be in the tourney but otoh had they might be the most talented first round team. 
 

I like our draw. If those teams weren’t named Alabama and Oklahoma people would see two flawed teams and ones that might not have made it. I might’ve preferred Miami in there but we avoided A&M which I think is a win. They have a talented roster, imo.

One thing that I think is a little screwed up is Georgia and Texas Tech do get one slight advantage over IU and OSU. 
 

In that realistically Georgia and TT are already preparing for ole miss and Oregon.  If an upset happens somehow I am sure the teams will pivot. 
 

IU and OSU are much less confident in our opponents

I would imagine that they are scouting both teams and ready to get the ball rolling on installing their game plan.  Cig said as much in his presser yesterday

I'd one million percent rather be wondering about Bama/Oklahoma than be preparing for Oregon.

GAs had the OU/Bama scouting reports done and on Cig’s/Haines’/Shanny’s desks before the sun rose this morning. They’ll do deep dives on both teams the next two weeks, be ready for either, THEN get a full 10 days of prep for the winner with a fresh game of tape in what should be a really competitive matchup on the 19th. It would be annoying if we didn’t have over 3 weeks to prep, but it’s not a concern imo.
